Smartphone app, back office & portal
HealthTrain is the market leader in innovative healthcare apps and support systems for physiotherapists. With more than 2.2 million app downloads and at least 151,000 active users per month, HealthTrain offers specialized healthcare applications to a large group of users.
Requirements: Mobile healthcare app
Since 2021, HealthTrain has been working with Fenêtre, the developer of the Silicon Low Code platform, on the development of their mobile appointment app.
In addition to this app, which is intended for healthcare clients, we are also developing the associated back office and an online portal for healthcare practices.
User-friendly smartphone application for end users
Clients can, for example, find their appointments and relevant content, such as training videos, in the application. Thanks to reminders from the app, the no-show percentage at physical appointments has been reduced, which has a positive outcome for both healthcare practices and their customers.
The latest technology, for iOS and Android
The application is built on .NET MAUI technology, a framework from Microsoft that uses the same source code for both the iOS and Android applications.
This advanced approach to mobile app development saves significant time during the development process. Thanks to this smart development approach, the smartphone app can be expanded even further in the future.

"We were looking for something solid, something that had a foundation. Then we came across the Silicon Low Code platform, and that really appealed to us."
Ted DoomenDirector, HealthTrain
Application integrated with an online customer portal
The online customer portal has been added to increase ease of use even further. This portal is of course connected to the back office and the mobile application.
In the online customer portal, customers can easily edit the data for their clinic, employees and protocols. By applying the corporate identity of the mobile application to the online portal, there is visual consistency in the modern design.
Connections and additional features
To keep up with the latest developments in digital healthcare, new features have been integrated into the mobile application, including the ability to connect with Google Fit & Apple Health.
Care provision is no longer limited to physical practice locations; chat and video calling options allow users to receive care anywhere.
In accordance with the legislation for medical applications in which patient data is present, all actions involving customer data are logged in an external system.
